GoldenAxe
Agency vs. Partner·2 min read

What does GoldenAxe do?

Who GoldenAxe is and what we do — a long-term technical partner that learns your Bubble app, stabilises it, and maintains it with you.

Who we are

If your product is making money, your team runs on it every day, and shipping an update has started to feel risky, the problem usually isn't the software. It's that nobody trustworthy is looking after it anymore. The team who built it has moved on and the new one doesn't really know it. GoldenAxe is the fix for that — a technical partner that actually learns your product and owns it with you.

What we do

What we do is easy to describe and hard to find. We take Bubble applications that businesses actually run on, and make them dependable again — stabilising the architecture, fixing what was built wrong, and quietly maintaining it from there. Most agencies ship the project and move on. Most freelancers leave when they're paid. GoldenAxe doesn't. We sign on for a year or more, embedded in your business the way a finance lead would be, except on the technical side. You're not hiring a vendor. You're keeping a partner.

Our Method

Our process has a name — the Forge Method — and it moves through six stages, from Mine to Release. The metaphor is deliberate. A blacksmith doesn't sprint. They heat, shape, cool, test, and only then release the blade. That's how we prefer to work. We've spent six years on Bubble, became a Silver Partner along the way, and have ten templates and five plugins published to the ecosystem. We mention it not to impress, but so you know that we've used it long enough to trust it.

We say NO to

We say in writing who we're not for. Not people shopping on price. Not people testing prototypes. Not people who want a team that says yes to everything. Turning clients away in public is expensive — which is exactly why most agencies don't do it. We do, because we'd rather work with fewer companies and do it properly. When the software runs your business, that's the kind of firm you want touching it.

Case Studies

Two examples make the point better than the pitch. Blueshirt came to us with a Bubble app that was sliding toward a security incident. We stabilised it, and have maintained it for over a year. Aluvii's billing was costing two people a day a month. We automated it, and now nobody on their team thinks about it. The work is meant to disappear into the background. That's how you know it's working. And it's the kind of result you only see when the client stays long enough to let it.

GoldenAxe — The Partner You Keep

What we offer is one thirty-minute conversation — a straight look at your situation, and an honest answer about whether we're the right fit. If you're testing an idea or chasing the cheapest quote, we'll say so and point you somewhere better. But if your business depends on the software, and the software has started to feel like something you have difficulty with, that's our conversation to have. You're not deciding anything yet. You're just having one call, with people who have spent six years getting good at exactly this problem.
